At Transguard Health and Safety is an intrinsic part of the way we work and live and its proactive management forms a critical part of our business culture.
Safety is our number one priority and every member of the Transguard team receives regular health and safety training, from their induction when they join the group to refresher courses, site-specific familiarity training and toolbox talks.
Our ‘Don’t Walk By’ campaign is in place across all of our operations and sites and aims to increase safety awareness by encouraging all of us to identify and report unsafe acts and conditions.
‘Don’t Walk By’ actively promotes safe working procedures and the development of a safety culture.
We have an annual target of 10,000 ‘Don’t Walk By’ reports per year with individual targets for all members of the management team.
As part of our commitment to health and safety, each of our 70 plus managers attends the IOSH: Managing Safely course.
